Mrs. Cara Adelmann
Years at BCA: Mrs.Adelmann began teaching at BCA in 2015. She attended school at BCA as a student from kindergarten through sixth grade.
Qualifications: Mrs.Adelmann earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Ohio University. She is licensed to teach first through third grade.
Christian Testimony: I asked Jesus to come into my heart when I was in second grade at Brice Christian Academy as a student! (In the very classroom I am teaching in!) Ever since that day I have been on a constant walk with my LORD and Savior. I am so thankful that God made me to be a teacher, and I am so blessed that I get the honor of sharing His Word with His children.
Philosophy of Christian Education: II believe that each student is a miracle that God has created. I believe that it is my job as a Christian educator to “plant a seed” in their heart, and help them find love for the LORD. One of my favorite Bible verses is: “Teach a child to choose the right path, and when he is older, he will remain upon it.” -Proverbs 22:6.
Personal Life: I attend Quest Community Church, and my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family! I get the pleasure of working with my family at Brice. My dad (Jeff Collins) is the K-3 Tab Lab teacher, my mom (Shirley Collins) volunteers in my class and helps the office, and my brother (Adam Collins) runs the social media page for BCA! I also was privileged to direct the school play “Narnia” last year, and I am looking forward to this year’s upcoming show!
